Ballaugh School

Nurturing Independent, Aspirational Learners. Supported by Strong Partnerships with Home and the Community

The Friends of Ballaugh School, better known as FoBS, are parents that meet during the school year to plan fundraising events.

All parents are invited to attend meetings and the AGM at which key positions such as chair, secretary and treasurer are elected.

FoBS events include the Mhelliah (October), the very popular Christmas and Summer Tombolas, the Easter egg hunt (not a fundraising event) and the Spring or Summer Fair. FoBs also manage a 100 club. More details re the 100 club will be linked to here.

The money that FoBS raise goes directly to the school to support the school beyond the stretch of its own financial budget. These include transport to school events and learning activities, purchasing resources and funding improvements to the learning environment.

FoBS have an active Facebook page which is locked to the outside world. If you are "on" Facebook, please send the administrator a request to join via the page.
