Home Learning for Class 3 – update

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all keeping well and safe and that you had a lovely, fun packed Easter break.

Activelearn.

I’ve been keeping track of how you have all been getting on with ‘Activelearn’ and lots of you are whizzing through all the different books, English games and maths that have been set for you. It appears that some of you have not yet logged into the system. If you are struggling with access please get in touch with me so I can help you out with this. I sent out an email, to all parents, two weeks ago but if they didn’t get this you won’t have your username or password to get onto the site. I’ve also noticed that not all of you are answering the questions in the reading books – remember to click on the little bug icons as they appear in the books.

This helps me to know if you understand what you are reading and to know when you need more books to read. The bugs eyes close when you have completed each question. I will be adding more books as you complete them.

New Resources

There are also lots of other lovely free resources out there for you to help with Home Learning.

One of the he latest was launched on Monday by the BBC called Daily Lessons. It’s part of their bitesize learning area. It is not just maths and English but also covers daily lessons of music, science history and geography too.

Here is the link should you wish to use it:

Below are some extra resources to support home learning in maths and English. They are a little bit different and not in the format of lessons, rather just individual activities based on what you should be learning in Years 3 and 4.
