Nurturing Independent, Aspirational Learners. Supported by Strong Partnerships with Home and the Community
This week, was bread week in the Ballaugh Bake-Off tent. The Star Baker awards went to Teddy, Peter and Fraser. Everyone enjoyed their bread rolls (some children eating them in the playground before getting home after school and there were even some used for the following days lunch!)
We also sorted our lunch boxes into the major food categories and learned about the benefit of a balanced diet in Key Stage One this week.
Yesterday was Christmas Cake day….the school smelt delicious. Many thanks to the very kind families who lent tins.
Next week we are studying the work of Guiseppe Archimboldo and will be creating out our masterpieces. Please send the household fruit and vegetables into school on Tuesday after breakfast, and we shall return them all home before tea!
