Nurturing Independent, Aspirational Learners. Supported by Strong Partnerships with Home and the Community
On Thursday 25th January Alex, Dante, Roo and Hermione from Year 6 represented the school at the annual Fair-Trade conference at Tynwald.
They took part in 4 activities to help them understand more about how fair trade works and what can be done to promote it.
These were a game to look at where fair-trade products come from, a discussion about rich and poor in the world, a workshop about cocoa production and a debate, in the Tynwald chamber, about whether or not children can make a difference to promoting fair trade. All 4 students were a credit to the school and contributed brilliantly to all the tasks.
Well done.
